Patches
This is the overall picture of my Clay Creature. It's a teddy bear. We painted them with Tempra paint.
Prelims
Here are my preliminary designs.
Reflections
1. The good/strong part of my sculpture is the creativity. The patches and the yarn ball really add.
2. I could have done better with managing my time because then I could've made it more detailed.
3. My creature was a teddy bear. I chose to make that because they are cute and it would've been the same size as my favorite teddy bear at home.
4. It is 3-D. It is kind of fat, and it's sitting looking down at the ball of yarn it is playing with.
5. The bear itself is mostly smooth, but the patches have stiching that is bumpy. The yarn is pretty bumpy as well.
6. I learned to be patient and have faith in yourself. I could apply that to anything!
7. It went pretty much the way I thought it would. I originally wanted more detail, and I wanted a bow on it. In the end it was harder than I thought it'd be so there wasn't as much detail.
8. This was a cool project because we got a lot of say in what we make. I like the creative freedom.
